Day 1: Arrival in Beijing  

Upon arrival at Airport, you will be greeted by our guide and transferred to the hotel. The rest day is free to have the chance for shopping or to explore this booming city at your own pace.

Day 2: Beijing  (L)

Today's adventure begins at Tian'anmen Square, the largest public space on earth. Passing through the Heavenly Peace Gate and walking into the Forbidden City, you will step back in time and home to the Imperial Courts of Ming and Qing Dynasties for more than 500 years. After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven, one of China's most photographed attractions, where the Chinese Emperors were known, worshipped the gods and prayed for good harvests.

Day 3: Beijing  (L)

Leave the bustle and traffic of Beijing behind and journey through the countryside to see one of the Wonders of the World – The Great Wall, stretching almost 4,000 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the sands of Central Asia and befittingly crowned one of the ten wonders of the world. Along the way, you will stop at a jade carving factory where you can watch artisans at work. After lunch you will visit the massive tomb complex of the Ming Emperors - Ming Tombs, where you will walk along the "Sacred Way" passing between pairs of huge stone sculptures.

Day 4: Beijing (L)

This morning you will visit the Summer Palace, the best preserved of all imperial palace gardens. Continue to visit theLama Temple, which reveals diverse architectural styles from Han, Mongolia, Manchuria and Tibet, and the impressive 60-foot Maitreya Buddha, carved form a single sandalwood tree. After lunch you'll forget about the skyscrapers and construction cranes of modern Beijing as you venture into Beijing Old Hutong, where the atmosphere of Old Peking lives on. You'll ride rickshaws down narrow lanes and alleyways, past vegetable markets, traditional medicine shops and tiny, wooden teahouses.

Day 5: Departure

See you off by transferring to the Airport.
