Our guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby at 7:30am. Drive 1.5 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall. Mutianyu Great Wall has much more watchtowers than normal Great Wall. Altogether, you will find 22 watchtowers on this 1.4 mile stretch of Wall. Fortifications were as well constructed over the both sides of the Great Wall. It also has inner and out barriers that are crenelated with merlons. This was so shots could be fired at attackers on both sides - an extremely unique and fascinating characteristic of the Great Wall, which presents the strategic military value. If you need to get to the highest point, cable car is a good choice (optional).

After lunch, head back to Beijing city. Visit the Forbidden City. The Forbidden City was the house of emperors and their families, and also the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government for up to 500 years Walk across the central axis of palaces through south to north for 2 hours.

Then stroll towards the Tiananmen Square for sightseeing and tour for 40 minutes. It features great cultural significance since it has been the place of many important occasions in China history. You will also have chance to visit Chinese traditional medicine culture.

Back to your hotel.
